Quick update on where I’m at, schedule-wise. I’ve been able to get through most of the remaster for Into the Wild. I’m adding some finishing touches, designing a cover, and getting quotes. The bulk of the work is done. That being said, I’ve burned through my buffer of pages for Winter Song.
I’m still planning on delivering Fomora to you three times a week, but I don’t want to rush the artwork. If there’s one thing I’ve learned by doing the remaster, it’s that the art in Fomora has gotten consistently better. So for this week, next week, and possibly the week after, I may miss the Monday, Wednesday, Friday update. Today’s page, for example, will be going up tomorrow. And Friday’s will go up Friday. After next week I’ll be doing actually printing, so it’s just a matter of rebuilding that buffer to make sure there are no interruptions.
I wasn’t planning on going to the Portland Comic Expo this year. But it’s an opportunity that I couldn’t pass up. However, it would be foolish to show up to the comic expo without anything. Bad as an artist trying to attract readers and bad as a business person trying to make some money with his art. So the redux has taken precedence as far as getting pages done is concerned.
Winter Song is not going on hiatus, it’s not slowing down, I’m just rolling with the punches as best I can. Anyway, I’ll talk to you again tomorrow!
Thanks for reading!
