Commissions are Open.

If you like Pat’s drawing style, you can commission a custom piece of digital art! Imagine your favorite character - or your own character - drawn specially for you. Below you will find Pat’s portfolio with examples of commissions. Information about commissioning artwork can be found in the drop-downs to the right.

  • You are the driving force behind your commissioned artwork. You can provide the details of how you want the piece to look. Use reference images, backstory, and relationships to inform the artwork.

  • After your initial inquiry, we’ll discuss the vision and scope of your artwork and get started.

As of now, the artwork should take about 1-2 weeks to complete, but this is subject to change.

Along the way, I will send screenshots for your approval before moving to the next phase. This ensures that we are on the same page throughout the commission process. These stages are:

    - Initial concept sketch, for basic pose and layout.
    - Ink-ready sketch, to ensure we have all the details accounted for before I add ink.
    - Flat colours (if applicable), to ensure you like the look and no tweaks are needed.

While minor changes are possible at each of these steps, I cannot go back to the drawing board, so to speak. It is important to get major details included in your initial scope of work.

Once the artwork is completed, you will receive a water-marked version with the Goat’s Head Studios logo for final approval. The final, high-resolution artwork will be sent once final payment has been received.

  • Please contact me with your ideas and I will reply with pricing.

  • By commissioning art from me, the commissioner (“you”) and Goat’s Head Studios (“Pat”, “me”, “I”, “the Studio,”) acknowledge and agree to all of the below unless exceptions have been agreed upon privately during the commission process.

Use and ownership of the commissioned artwork.

    • The artwork is for personal use only.

    • You may not resell the artwork, use it commercially, or for the promotion of a commercial project.

    • Goat’s Head Studios owns the artwork. The Studio retains the right to post the artwork and related process content to goatsheadstudios.com and any other websites we find suitable.

    • You may not remove my signature from the artwork.

    • You may take your artwork to a printer to make a physical print for personal use, after it has been completed.

    Scope of Work

    • The final artwork shall be an A5 digital print with a resolution of 300 dpi (dots per inch), unless otherwise agreed to. This is the ideal size for making a physical print.

    • For full-color artwork, you are allowed to define up to five colors that you would like for me to use. You may allow me to choose for you, if you prefer.

    • The scope of work shall be discussed, defined, and included in the initial invoice.½ of total payment is required to begin work on the artwork.

    • All requested reference material must be received to begin the artwork.

    • Modifications to the original scope of work can be discussed and are subject to a price increase.

    • The increase in price must be received before any modifications can be made. I may decline to make any modifications and may choose to maintain the original agreement.

    Payment

    • All prices in USD.

    • Payment and invoices shall be requested and sent through Paypal.

    • 1/2 of payment is required for work on the piece to commence.

    • If scope of work is modified, I must receive price adjustment before continuing work.

    • You cannot cancel the commissioned artwork after the first payment has been received.

    • There are no refunds, except in cases where I cannot complete work due to a catastrophic event.

  • When making a commission request, be sure to include:

Type of Artwork: Bust/Full Body, Black & White/Full Colour

Description: Provide details about what your character looks like, what they’re wearing, how they feel, and what they’re doing.

References: Please provide links to any images that you would like to inform the artwork. This is a great place to reference pose, colour.

Other: If you have any exceptions to the terms and conditions, or have questions on anything, please tell me here.
